Davis Wire to be a return host for ferrous workshop in 2002

Davis Wire Corporation, which teamed up with MACBEE Engineering to put on the ferrous wiredrawing workshop in 2000, will once again open its doors to attendees when the WAI event is repeated February 3-5, 2002.The company, which manufactures steel wire and wire products that includes chain link fencing and wire mesh, will have tours of its facility in Irwindale, California. The plant covers 300,000 sq ft on 34 acres of property and houses multiple wiredrawing machines. Attendees will be able to see stages of the wiredrawing process, from rod manufacturing and galvanizing to straightening and cutting and packaging.
