A review of coal washing sections - part 3. Water-slurry circuits for 0,5÷0 mm grain size in flotation machines or 0,5÷0,05 mm size in spiral separators

The article discusses the throughput of water-slurry circuits and characterises fundamental technological operations. It determines throughput, accuracy of washing and efficiency of dewatering by basic machines. The purposefulness of application of water-slurry Circuits is beyond discussion for coking coals; washing in spiral separators (coil separators) is preferred for steam coals.
