The Project envisaged construction of a concrete dam and a surface Power House on the right bank. The total quantity of concrete was 14.95 lakh cum. The details of the concrete quantities are summarized in Table 1. Omkareshwar Project was executed onturnkey basis by calling global tenders. The project was executed in 48 months which is a new industry bench mark.
