Cytological investigations on Bulgarian phanerogams

Chromosome numbers are given for 35 species of angiosperms from Bulgaria, nine of which are the first reports on Bulgarian material; for Geum bulgaricum a new ploidy level is reported. The karyo-types are presented for several species of mainly Achillea and Ranunculus. Taxonomic and phyto-geographical aspects are discussed.
