We test Tamron's new 85mm f/1.8 lens, an image-stabilised, short telephoto prime Last year Tamron revamped its premium SP lens line, taking the intriguing approach of combining an f/1.8 aperture with built-in optical stabilisation. We were impressed by its first two lenses - the SP 35mm f/1.8 Di VC USD and SP 45mm f/1.8 Di VC USD - and here we're looking at the third in this series: the short telephoto SP 85mm f/1.8 Di VC USD.
