Repair welding of cones of KKD-1500/180 crushers

Repair welding experience for profound cutting at expensive part restoration of the primary large-tonnage cones shafted and fabricated from both low-carbon steel 45L and hard-to-weld steels 34XM1A is described. The extracted ore-containing soil from quarries (shafts) is transferred into crushers for fine crushing of the type of cone crushers KKD-1500-180. The cone is the main working element of these devices. The cone consists of a shaft whose upper journal is secured in the suspension mechanism, and the lower journal is fixed in the drive mechanism.
