摘要

With respect to the welding of stainless steels containing helium owing to neutron irradiation, the findings so far obtained were outlined. The tasks which lie ahead are to make clear the weld cracking criteria in relation to helium content by accumulating the data of welding tests; to establish the welding methods to prevent cracking; and to verify and improve the weld crack simulation techniques. At present, having been entrusted by the Ministry of Economy and Industry, the Hatsuden Setsubi Gjiutsu Kensa Kyokai (Power Plant Facility Techniques Inspection Association) is undertaking the production of technical guidelines for repairing techniques of irradiated materials in 'Welding techniques for safe repairing of irradiated materials in nuclear power plants'.
