摘要

OXYGEN isotope composition is an important key to an understanding of petrogenesis, mantle heterogeneity, crust-mantle interaction, etc. The great mass of data of the mantle-derived materials published abroad have announced the δ ~(18)O heterogeneityof the mantle, the existence of mantle sources with high and low δ ~(18)O for the formation of basaltic melt and the coherence between δ ~(18)O and Sr, Nd and Pb isotopic compositions of the mantle, etc.. There is some research in this field contrasting sharply with Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic and REE and other trace element geochemistry in China. We report here the δ ~(18)O analysis of the Cenozoic continental basalts, mantle xenoliths and clinopyroxene and anorthoclase megacrysts from the Anhui-Jiangsu basalt province in East China and discuss their geochemical significance.
