The Patron of our Society, His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, is well known for his charitable works. The Prince's Charities is a group of 79 not-for-profit organizations, of which 17 were founded personally by His Royal Highness, and raise overpound 119 million annually for charitable causes. The organizations are active across a broad range of areas, including opportunity and enterprise, education, health, the built environment, responsible business, and the natural environment. The Society itself became involved with the Prince's Business and the Environment programme in 2007 and recently awarded His Royal Highness Honorary Membership of the Society in recognition of his outstanding environmental leadership sustained over many years. The Society was delighted when His Royal Highness took time out of his busy schedule to give an interview to Weather.
