CHevrolet's bright Spark: City car cleverly mixes edgy looks with space for four six-footers

WE'RE USED TO cute, cuddly city cars, but Chevrolet's all-new Spark is more edgy than most. It's a replacement for the Matiz, but where that car was all soft curves, the Spark is a riot of sharp creases, bulging wheelarches and bold angles. It's bigger than the Matiz, too, and that tall, boxy shape translates into more space than many rivals can offer. Headroom is particularly good, and there's also enough legroom for four six-footers to sit in comfort. In fact, there's more space in the back for knees than in some small family hatchbacks.
