New arrival: Mini Paceman - It's a fun, flash coupe, but will its bling seem just as charming this time next year?

OUR MINI PACEMAN arrived this month, flashing more bling than Mr T out for a night on the town. I admit, it cuts a pretty distinctive presence in our car park, with its Blazing Red paint job, contrasting white roof and door mirror caps, plus a load of chrome detailing. This is not a car for the shy and retiring, or the super-frugal for that matter. Nope, the head-turning Paceman is for the loud and proud, the f ashionistas, or, as Mini's marketing folk put it, those who won't settle for tedium and want to escape the mundane.
