THE PREVIOUS C4 Picasso was always overshadowed by the seven-seat Grand C4, with UK buyers snapping up almost three times as many Grands. This time, though, Citroen has tried to give the five-seat car its own distinct character; it's lower and wider than the outgoing model, and looks more dramatic. Citroen has also used composites, aluminium and high-strength steel in the new car's construction, which helps make it around 140kg lighter than its predecessor, and improves performance and efficiency.
