How to Rebuild Workover Masts Part 2

From our discussion in Part 1 of this article (May/June 2016), per API RP 4G (4th Ed., April 2012) an operating mast should be totally rebuilt every 10 years or every 3,650 operating days. This rebuild includes removing the mast from the carrier, disassembling it, removing paint and scale, and rebuilding the mast per the manufacturer's original specifications. This includes all required structural repairs.
