Nick Allen seems to have found his niche in life, along with a niche market for his pedigree Saddlebacks, This was the second Saddleback herd I had been to see in two weeks. It prompts the question, is there a revival in their fortunes? Nick (pictured above, right) worked for many years for Alvis Brothers as a manager on various pig units so has plenty of experience. Having moved house 15 times his wife decided they should put roots down whilst their children are being educated.
