Representative Frank Lucas (R-OK)

The 3rd congressional district of Oklahoma is one of the largest by size in the United States stretching from the Panhandle to the outskirts of Tulsa. The district includes nearly 50 percent of Oklahoma's land mass and is as large as the state's other four districts combined. Congressman Frank Lucas has represented this area since 1994. Although this Republican lawmaker is chairman of the House Agriculture Committee, the oil and gas industry is an important business in his district, and he understands and supports his constituents working each and every day to provide energy to this country. Representative Lucas is a staunch supporter of the domestic oil and gas industry and believes that expansion of the country's fossil fuel resources is a necessity.
