Most of us in the oilfield are from the older generation and are of the opinion, "if it's worked in the past, it will work now." This may be true, but the younger generation that is coming up behind us (our children and grandchildren), communicate in different ways than we do (or did). It has become necessary for us to communicate with them in the ways they are used to. We've all said it, "this generation doesn't communicate," but isn't the real truth that they don't communicate in the ways we do?
