'10 steps to improved productivity' has identified a number of key topic areas which should be addressed when considering ways in which fabrication activities may be optimised for a given type of product. Each article has highlighted generic features which should be evaluated, though the emphasis will change from product to product, and will invariably be the subject of financial constraints. The fundamental aim of this series of articles has been to provide pointers which will guide fabricators in exploiting the potential for improved productivity within their own companies.
