On the composition of the soluble organic fraction and its influence during the combustion of exhaust diesel soot

Exhausted diesel soot is known as a major pollutant [1-3].The possibility of elimination of soot via filtration and catlaytic combustion has been widely studied [4-7].While some relations between fuel composition and soot production are known [8],the relations between fuel and soluble organic fraction composition are less clear.
