摘要

Large-scale synthesis of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with high purity is essentail for property investigations and application of SWNTs. At present, several methods, such as laser ablation [1], hydrogen arc discharge [2], catalytic decomposition of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons [3], etc., have been developed for the large-sale synthesis of SWNTs [4-9]. For the laser ablation and electric arc techniques, graphite was often used as the starting material.
