摘要

A technology is proposed for hydroinformation support of flood risk management, based on the use of physically-based models describing river runoff formation and water motion in a river system in combination with databases of hydrometeorological, water management, and cartographic data and management systems for those bases. The results of application of this technology for assessing the flood control function of the existing and projected reservoirs on the Zeya and Bureya rivers are considered along with the effect of runoff regulation by those reservoirs aimed to reduce the risk of floods on the 850-km-long reach of the Middle Amur.
