Just returned from Malta, it is the first time I have stayed in the house that we hope to semi-retire to, hopefully next year. It is in a traditional Maltese village about 100 metre from the sea and well away from the holiday area. Got a real shock at the prices of mushrooms on the Island - at least 50% higher than in the UK. I am sure that when I move over to Malta, there will be some locally grown Polish mushrooms appearing on the market - could fly them over at those prices.
