Underpinning Mushroom Research (DEFRA) at Warwick HRI

This article has been compiled from a talk given by Professor Peter Mills at the Industry Conference held at Warwick HRI in October 2004, augmented from a review, compiled by Dr Helen Grogan, published in 'Plant it' the R&D Newsletter published by DEFRA. Unlike other presentations in the Conference programme which dealt in detail with individual projects this one's remit was to provide a broad picture of the DEFRA-funded mushroom research at Warwick HRI. For many delegates this was their first visitto Wellesbourne since HRI's merger with the University of Warwick.
