Numerical modeling of solute transport during catastrophic floods complicated by ice phenomena

摘要

A numerical model is proposed for the description of pollutant transport from a source in the zone of inundation owing to the passage of a release wave and the formation of ice jams. The model is based on the solution of two-dimensional motion and solute mass transport equations involving the conditions of ice jam formation.
