摘要

The objectives of this trial were to determine potato leaf and stem desiccation over a three week period of various desiccants in single or sequential applications in a field trial conducted at the Aberdeen Research and Extension Center in 2005. The experimental area was fertilized with 160 lb N, 80 lb P_2O_5, 10 lb Z, and 5 lb/A of Mn /acre, based on soil tests, before planting 'Russet Burbank' potatoes on May 27, 2005. Potatoes were planted 6 inches deep with 12-inch intervals in rows spaced 36 inches apart in a Declo Loam soil with 1.4% organic matter and pH 8.1. The experimental design was a randomized complete block with three replications and 12 by 30 foot plots.
