Continuing with the current practice of looking back exactly five years, the image this month comes from an article in the February 2001 Mushroom Journal entitled 'Mushroom Venture Keeps on Growing'. It shows a smiling David Mann of Flixton Mushroomsand his consultant Rob Smith. The article was reproduced from the original in the Eastern Daily Press and describes the progress of the co-operative Waveney Mushrooms which, in February 2001, was nearly 10 years old. Although primarily written for the general public it provides a good example of what benefits a Producer Organisation can provide, not least, the financial help provided by EU funding.
