Water quality modelling of Lake Kinneret, Sea of Galilee

Lake Kinneret, also known as the Sea of Galilee, is situated in northern Israel 209 meters below Mediterranean Sea level (at maximum capacity). Many different uses are increasing the demand for water from the lake, putting greater pressure on water quality in the lake. This paper presents simulation results from the one-dimensional water quality model DYRESM-CAEDYM, comparing the model simulations with field data.
