Water quality modelling of the River Spree

摘要

Within a pilot project to the Joint Task "Water Resources Development of the River Spree" funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) a water quality model has been developed to analyse, control and predict the future developmentof the water quality and quantity of River Spree and its tributaries in Saxony. The main focus of the pilot project has been the development of algorithms to describe the complex transport, mixing, and transformation processes.
