Now just past the halfway point of the season, Team BMR leads the BTCC Teams standings, with Jason Plato now second in the overall championship... Team BMR's Jason Plato put in a stellar performance to take two wins out of the three races in the Dunlop MSA BTCC meeting at Oulton Park on Sunday June 7, putting him into the lead in the driver's championship... Plato picked up from where he'd left off in qualifying on Saturday and after starting from pole position the VW CC driver rarely looked back. Despite Matt Neal's best efforts in the Honda Civic Type R and an early challenge from Andy Priaulx, the triple BTCC champion kept his cool to defend the place perfectly around the 2.2-mile Island Circuit, with team-mate Aron Smith finishing fifth.
