SEAT has used its experience to provide the Leon ST Estate with mild off-road ability, and - with torquey TDI power and 4Drive traction - it works very well indeed... WITH THE prospect of new Golf and Passat Alltrack models coming soon within the Volkswagen stable, we took the opportunity to sample the all-round abilities of the Leon X-Perience from sister marque SEAT. The concept of the X-Perience is very similar to the transformation of Golf and Passat Estate into Alltrack, with the four-door Leon ST estate model converted into an off-road style vehicle with accoutrements like flared wheelarches, front and rear body guards, and with the suspension uprated and the ride height raised by 15 mm.
