GENEVA ALSO saw the world premiere of the new Touran, the first MPV to be based on the new MQB platform. Despite an overall increase in length of 130 mm, and a 113 mm longer wheelbase, with more interior space than before, the new MQB construction methods mean that the overall vehicle weight has been reduced by 62 kg.
