Forge Motorsport's modifications for the new Scirocco provide greatly improved performance, handling and braking, as well as an eyecatching appearance... IT WAS INEVITABLE that tuning and accessory specialists all over the country would be vying to be the first to capture the imagination with a modified version of the Scirocco. It was a model which, as soon as we saw it, was clearly going to become a highly attractive acquisition; much more than just a dynamic sports car, it was one of those models which has that all-important desirability factor. Like Audi's TT before it, the Scirocco was clearly destined to become an instant cult car, with all the right ingredients: sensational looks, high performance and superb handling, not to mention full four-seat practicality and a very affordable price, only ￡75 more than a 3-door Mk 5 GTI and a huge ￡4,120 less than a similarly engined Audi TT!
