Winter Olympic medals made from WEEE

Medals handed out to winners at the winter Olympics in Canada this year were made from metals recovered from processing the circuit boards of end-of-life electronics.Teck Resources Limited (Teck) was the exclusive supplier of the metals used in the production of the over 1000 medals to be awarded.
