It's not every day that a teJuuuu can award a pair of under veterinarian, but for Ali McKenna CVT, it's a typical Monday — sort of. Normally, si be teaching endoscopic procedures to veterinary residents at the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, but on this particular Monday Ali decided to add a little flair to her curriculum. After she and her students extracted a pair of royal blue underwear from a dog during a foreign-body retrieval, Ali held onto the underwearand, during an end-of-year awards ceremony, presented it to the resident who excelled most in foreign-body retrieval. But it was not easy for Ali to get where she is today.
