摘要

Solar thermal power plants are well suited to generate large amounts of electricity on demand in the sunny regions of the world due to the high global potential of solar power and the possibility to buffer thermal energy at comparatively low cost. Currently, most research activities focus on solar tower power plant technology. The focus of this article lies on a realistic modelling of a solar tower power plant by using the EBSILON Professional software and the analysis of influences on annual electricity output. The power plant is to comprise thermal energy storage as well as a steam turbine. Further constraints are the consideration of practical aspects in the operation of the power plant and the detection of relevant losses.
