A few issues back we took a look at the Garner two-wheeled pedestrian tractor, so now I think it is time to move on the Garner Light Four Tractor. Following the overwhelming success of its two-wheel pedestrian tractor, in 1949, Garner Mobile Equipment Ltd, of North Acton Road, London introduced the "Light Four-Wheel Tractor". This new machine, while retaining many of the features associated with the two-wheeled machine, was of a lightweight yet robust construction and big enough to handle with relative ease, all the tasks likely to be encountered on a large market garden or small farm.
