CHP with fuel cells models for the future supply of private and industrial customers

Within a few years fuel cells - an innovative technology for decentralized energy supply - will be meeting a proportion of electrical energy and heat requirements, both in households and in commercial and industrial applications. This paper describes the integration of fuel cells into the supply of domestic energy, as well as various applications in commercial and industrial plant. Fuel cells will allow the additional potential of combined heat and power (CHP) to be provided on a distributed basis for small generation units. The aim is to conserve resources, reduce emissions and provide an in - as the inexpensive supply of energy.
