Work planning for maintenance activities control of operation costs considering specific requirements of a waste-to-energy plant

The combined generation on waste incineration offers economic advantages enabling the about 60 adjacent industrial businesses and neighbouring suburbs to be supplied with energy at a favourable cost level, despite the high operating costs incurred by the thermal utilization of domestic and similar industrial waste (residual waste). With the scheduled new materials for boilers, the operators expect an increased operating time for waste boilers as well as an increase of the operating safety. Results of the test operation with new materials are described.
