摘要

Even in high temperature steam power stations, significant exergetic improvements of electricity generation are attainable through appropriate design and operation of the cold end. With the "cooling water side by-pass circuit" and the "modifiedconnection of the secondary cooling water system", two configurations and methods of operation of the cold end are represented, these have been developed within the framework of concept planning for Bexhach II power station with the object of exergeticoptimisation. The results obtained for optimisation of the cold end are valid for Bexhach II power station of the Saar mineworks; application to other plants can obviously ensue only if the individual limiting conditions are taken into consideration.
