Clarification of the official approvals for the use of water in power stations

The industry needs to be certain for its industrial waste water systems that legal prescriptions and regulations from approvals are complied with. A legal regulation of the operation is on the one hand to protect those responsible from legal prosecution, and on the other hand approvals of the plants are to be valid and protect investments from subsequent requirements or prohibition of utilization. Investigated were the existing plants and facilities, where waste water is produced, treated and discharged, and the existing approvals. Compared with the rules and regulations of the water legislation, weak points were detected. Technical, organisational or legal approval-related measures have made it possible to permanently reduce the current costs to a not negligible degree.
