StrathAyr brings improved wicket transporter into play

StrathAyr has developed a third version of its portable cricket wicket transporter the TransportAyr. According to principal Bill Casimaty, the first two were largely designed and built on the Seymour, Victoria, farm belonging to the company. But thistime around, StrathAyr employed a Melbourne engineering company to redesign the machine, although some construction was done on the farm by StrathAyr staff. It was completed just a couple of days before it was towed into Sydney's Telstra Stadium on February 19, to successfully remove 32 tonnes of steel, Oberon cricket clay and Legend turf.
