Diseases in relation to enviroment

Elsewhere in this issue are articles dealing with the growth of the tea plant as influenced by environmental conditions. In the following pages an attempt has been made to analyse the influence of different environmental factors with reference to theincidence of tea diseases, which are caused by microorganisms such as fungi and algae. The views expressed here are not all based on experimental evidence but in many are based on field surveys and experience.
