The effect of broad bean cultivars sowing time on the seeds infestation by Bruchus ruflmanus Boh. was studied. In 1999 the seeds infestation reached 91.5 percent - seeds with 5 holes were the most abundant. In 2000 the seeds infestation was 46.4 percent and the great amount of seeds with 1 hole was recorded. There were no distinct differences in the infestation of various broad bean cultivars by B. ruflmanus in all sowing dates.
