Reverse bender shapes rear headrest frame

When second-tier automotive supplier RSM Industries was contracted by Nissan to produce the tubular headrests for its five-seat Almera model, it found itself with a bending problem.Whilst the manufacturer - based in Coventry, England - could successfully shape three of the headrest frames with its existing machinery, the bending required to shape the tubes bound for the two rear outer seats was too complex. Specifically, the last of the six bends needed a reversal in the direction to avoid the tube hitting the tooling.
