THE EFFECT OF BROAD BEAN PLANTS DENSITY ON THE OCCURRENCE OF APHIS FABAE SCOP. (HOMOPTERA, APHWODEA) AND PREDATORY SYRPHIDS (DIPTERA, SYRPHIDAE)

In the research on Aphis fabae Scop, and predatory Syrphidae the occurrence and population dynamic of A. fabae as well as the species composition of syrphids on broad bean plants planting in different densities (40x20,40x30, 40x40) were studied. Therewere the distinct differences in the infestation by aphids' beans planting in different density. Plants density increased with a decrease in the aphid population density per plant. During the observations, 131 syrphid larvae belonging to 8 species werecollected from A. fabae colonies. The dominant species was Episyrphus bal-teatus (Deg.).
