Smooth and accurate CNC bending of multiple-radius bends

The Dynamic 2, five-axis, tube bending machine from BLM Group, UK, is an advanced example of the benefits of CNC technology for a range of tube bending applications. Representing a step change in the way tube is manipulated, the Dynamic 2 bending machine was recently installed at the UK factory of Toolspec Manufacturing, based in Luton, Part of the Metairax Group pic, Toolspec is a producer of a wide range of bent tubular products, from brake pipe assemblies to safety cages for earthmoving equipment. A long-established user of BLM Group equipment, the company can more accurately be defined as "a producer of welded assemblies", according to Toolspec's managing director Mr Dick Corking. Using its sixth BLM bending machine, Toolspec produces tube components for LH and RH versions of a tractor cab grab handle.
