Latest PLC Control System Optimises Microprocessor Technology

Boston Matthews, UK has launched a new 'entry-level' Plc Control System into their extruder range. The new XL~(TM)extruder will enable processors to benefit from microprocessor technology without involving a massive departure from 'familiar' controls found with traditional hardwired machines. The screens have been designed to display information and instructions in a clear and simplistic format. The company is keen to stress that previous computer knowledge and familiarity is not necessary to use the extruder. The Windows based system uses icons similar to average PC's with help pages giving clear, simple instructions.
