BOOKKEEPING PROCEDURES WHEN INTRODUCING THE COLLECTIVE CONTRACT

Since Feb. 1, 1988, the introduction of the collective contract to industrial subdivisions of PO "Balkhashmed"' has been conducted by a creative group led by D. T. Khagazheev, General Director of the association. This form of organizing labor, as the most progressive - as practice has shown - sets up a management mechanism based on a counter-consumption mechanism and economic methods of industrial management. By the middle of 1988, the collective contract was being used in the Eastern-Kounrad and Sayaks mines, the beneficiation section of the copper-molybdenum concentration plant, the wire bars shop of the non-ferrous metals processing plant and several sections of an agro-complex. Under contractual conditions there has been an increase in labor productivity, substantial savings made in the material resources, and increases in worker wages.
