摘要

One of the approaches to technical progress in non-ferrous metals processing is the introduction of electrophysical methods of acting on metal during metallurgical and plastic processing. This is the roost effective and shortest approach to solving problems connected with meeting requirements in product quality, resource saving, increases in labor productivity, and providing for ecological clean production. In order to evaluate the results of work being conducted by different organizations and to determine measures for broad use of highly-effective methods of processing at non-ferrous metals processing plant, an All-Union scientific seminar was held in the city of Kirov at the Kirovsk Non-ferrous Metals Processing Plant. Seminar participants had the potential not only to listen to the reports and notices but also to familiarize themselves with three units, operating at the plant, for induction roasting of strips.
