IMPROVING THE INDIRECT EXTRUSION OF SHAPES

In our country, the extrusion of shapes is being reorganized by the introduction of modernized and new equipment, technological upgrading, and automation. The indirect extrusion technology basically is meeting the demands to double earlier productivity, satisfies product quality requirements, and makes it possible to eliminate or minimize manual operations through the use of automation. When processing high-alloy, difficulty-deformable aluminum alloys, the use of indirect extrusion in systems operating at increased rates has been found to be the main reason to switch from a pressing installation to a complex and a flowline.
