Dynamic market conditions require a company that can lead from the front. Neil P. Wagstaff, Group Chief Executive at Transmark Fcx explains how the international flow control equipment distributor is using the power of the supply chain to meet customers increasing needs. The role of the distributor has changed constantly over the years to meet the ever growing demands of the market and today's successful supply companies fulfil a broad role which involves not only the supply of products but also managing the entire supply chain to deliver efficiency savings and added value services. Transmark Fcx has been at the forefront of the valve distribution market for several decades which Neil Wagstaff explains is due to a number of factors: "For us the customer really is our number one priority so all of our systems have an in-built flexibility that allows us to efficiently service each individual customers specific requests. Whether they require delivery to site every 4-hours during a shut-down or prefer some other arrangement, every member of our team knows that meeting the customers needs is their highest responsibility."
